Lucky Lychee has a permanent home in The Green Man in Winchester, serving Malaysian food alongside a carefully chosen drinks list.
We accept reservations for dining and have unreserved tables available for drinks & walk-ins. We welcome dogs in parts of the pub, please mention it in your reservation.

MENUS
Our menu features seasonal dishes with high-welfare and local produce, inspired by culinary-rich Malaysia, where chef Nicole grew up and learnt to cook. Many dishes are from her Nyonya heritage: a fusion of Chinese and Malay culinary traditions, characterised by vibrant flavours, aromatic spices and intricate preparation.
Our drinks are selected to pair with our vibrant food but equally good for drinking by themselves. Our wines are predominantly low-intervention with some classic options: whites lean towards fresh & aromatic, reds tend to be riper with less tannin & lighter oak. There are also unusual skin-contact wines for the curious, which match our food brilliantly. A classically inspired cocktail list sits alongside cask ales, premium lagers, IPAs and world beers. We have a wide alcohol-free selection, including whole leaf teas, mostly single origin and organic.
PARTIES
If you’re looking for an informal spot for a wedding, birthday or work celebration, we’re here to help. We have three flexible areas throughout our pub & restaurant where we can offer you a private space for 12-150 friends and family.
We take a bespoke approach to party planning, first understanding your requirements before we suggest food, drink and entertainment to make for a memorable celebration. We have a late license and don’t charge for room hire, we simply agree a minimum spend at the outset.
Our courtyard is perfect for a drinks party and can be combined with our dining room for a self-contained party space with its own entrance and bar. For a larger gathering we can offer you the entire ground floor, allowing you the flexibility of a traditional pub bar with an atmospheric party room to the rear, perfect for live bands and DJs.
